The below terms and conditions are concerning individual buyers, who aren’t professional
buyers. The terms and conditions for professional buyers are available in the professional

By using the material at this web site, all users agree to all terms and conditions contained
in this web site, except any legal changes which would have been accepted by la plume
d’alba and posted to the user. The terms and conditions explain to the user all the compulsory
steps, from the order to the items’s delivery.
This web site ‘s online shopping is reserved to the European community (exclusive of Dom tom), Switzerland, Usa, Canada.
1. Order Policy
To ensure the user receives its order confirmation, the user should enter correct personal
Information, such as the delivery and billing adresses, and should enter all the compulsory
fields, and should accept the terms and conditions .The buyer accepts the product’s description,
price, and delivery time when he clicks on ‘valid’ at each step of the order.The company
la plume d’alba will confirm or not the order by email.This confirmation will be made accordingly to
the products availability in stock ; if we are unable to fulfill the order, the user will be notified and
will be paid back within a month time.
2. Shipping policy
The processing and delivery time are given for information ; they both depends
on the product availability and the freight choosen by the user.
We do not deliver any products to post offices boxes.
Processing time for in stock items is approximately 2 business days, delivery
time does not include processing time.
Late deliveries can’t be considered as a refund case, neither motivate an order
cancellation.
The product’s delivery time is mentioned in the product’s descriptive text, in
the on line shopping web’s pages.
The technics used for printing our fabrics requires time, and we thank the user
for considering this point whenever he is placing an order on our web site.
The standard delivery cost is mentioned in the order form, and includes the packing
and transport upto the user ’s delivery adress. The user must then bare the
delivery cost.
For the deliveries out of the EEC, The shipping cost is exclusive of customs duties,
and exclusive of all other taxes related to the product’s import into the user’s country.
So these remain the buyer’s responsability, and the products can be delievered at the
only condition the user bares the duties charges.

2.2 For EEC and Switzerland : ‘international colissimo ’
The ‘international colissimo’ is done through the French post office and has no
garanteed shipping time .The regular shipping time is from 4 to 6 business days.
The standard shipping rate for EEC and Switzerland is 13.50 euros upto a 3kg parcel.
La plume d’alba isn’t liable nor for a late delivery caused by the shipper, nor the parcel’s
damaging, or a missing item within the parcel.
A post office tracking n° is mentioned on the parcel’s label, so that the user can track
it on the web. The tracking n° will be sent by email to the user,along with the post office
url .The parcel is given against a signature.The user should check prior to his signature,
that nothing is missing in the parcel, and nothing is damaged. If one or more of the item(s)
is – are missing, the user will be paid back of the item’s amount in the limit of the shipper’s
insurance policy , once ‘La plume d’alba’ has been itself paid back by the shipper.
If the user has a paypal account, there isn’t any further delay in the refund ; if the transaction
was made directly from the user’s bank account, the refund will be made within 30 business
days.If the user doesn’t check his parcel prior to the signature, no complaint will take place,
and no refund shall be possible. The complaint must be writen and sent to la plume d’alba ,

For shipping to Switzerland : The shiping cost are exclusive of customs duties, and exclusive
of all other taxes related to the product’s import into the user’s country. So these remain
the buyer’s responsability, and the products can be delievered at the only condition the user
bares the duties cost.
2.3 Shipping to USA and Canada
a) Inlt colissimo to Usa and Canada :
The intl colissimo is done through the French post office and has no garanteed shipping
time The regular shipping time is from 5 to 10 business days.
The standard shipping rate for USA and Canada is 30 euros upto 3kg.La plume d’alba

b) Federal express
This mode of shipment is the most reliable and strongly advised for shipping to USA and Canada.
The Federal express fares are applicable until the 12.31.08 and are exclusive of petrol
extra charges. Processing time for in stock items is approximately 2 business days, delivery
time does not include processing time.The shipping time is 4 days for usa and Canada, but can
vary from a city to annoter.
The Awb n° is sent by email to the user so that he can track his parcel on the web.
The basic shipping fare for USA and Canada is 30 euros, to which is added the federal express
shipping fare less the 30 euros basic rate . An invoice via paypal will be sent to the user by email,
when he selects federal express as a shipping mode. The payment should be made by credit
card only. Once the invoice’s amount is paid, the parcel shall be sent via federal express to the user.
If this invoice isn’t paid, the mode of shipment will be the colissimo international.
In case of late delivery , except in the case of a custom checking delay, the user will be paid
back of the shipping’s amount, once la plume d’alba is paid back by federal express.
The user should check prior to his signature, that nothing is missing in the parcel, and nothing
is damaged. If one or more of the item(s) is – are missing, the user will be paid back of the item’s
amount in the limit of the shipper’s insured amount policy , once La plume d’alba has been itself
paid back by the shipper. If the user has a paypal account, there isn’t any further delay in the refund;
if the transaction was made directly from the user’s bank account, the refund will be made within 30 business days.

3. Garantees
The buyer agrees to follow the care instructions mentioned on the product’s wash care
labels, stitched inside each product.The printing or dyeing irregularities are inherent to
our hand made products, and can’t be considered as defects nor be the object of a refund.
These points are mentioned on the merchandise tags , delivered along with our products.
We give the best care to our products, from the sourcing, printing, dyeing, manufacturing
upto the last finishes and packing.However, a defective product can be either returned or
exchanged. These modalities are descripted in the following chapter :
4. Return policy
All the items can be shiped back within the 7 days following their delivery date.
The item(s) should be returned intacts in their packing, with their merchandise tags,
by registered post, along with the return and exchange form joigned in the parcel.
If it was not the case, there won’t be any refund or exchange. You will find
a return shopping label along with the return/exchange form.The parcel should be sent to:

mentioned above.The refund includes only the item’s price without the freight cost, which
the buyer must bare .
5. Payment Policy
The only way of payment on our web site is by credit card.La plume d'alba employs

in euros currency only.The order’s amount is shown in euros. The user ordering from UK,
Usa and Canada sees his order form in euros on our web site. His bank account is debited
in his local currency and the order amount is converted from the euro to the user’s local
currency ,as per the order’s date’s exchange rate. Paypal takes a 2,5% extra exchange rate
tax on the transaction.This tax is not taken in a country using the euro currency.
The order won’t be confirmed in case of credit card ‘s transaction authorisation declined,
and in case of past litigations.Therefore the selected item(s) won’t be delievered to the user.
6. Pricing policy
The currency used is the euro.
The payments ar e accepted in euros currency only.
The prices of products sold on our web site are inclusive of french Vat.
The prices are garanted upto the 30.06.08.
The freight fares through post office are garanted upto the 30.06.08
The Federal express fares are applicable until the 12.31.08.
The discounts are indicated for each item separately
